Students at UIW can get help from a variety of sources. Here are some of the most useful ones:

Office of the Admissions

The Office of the Admissions is located across the street from the main campus (on the East side of Broadway). Applications for admission are accepted on a continual, or rolling basis, throughout the year for fall, spring, and summer semesters. However, it is recommended that the application process be completed in a timely fashion, allowing sufficient time to process financial aid awards.

Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar is the place to go to register for course in person. The registrar sets the schedules for courses and keep the academic records of students and helps those students who are applying for graduation or transferring to the University. The Office of the Registrar is located on the second floor in the north wing Administration Building.

Financial Aid

The primary purpose of the Office of Financial Aid is to provide resources to the students who would otherwise be unable to pursue a post-secondary education. They will help you find out what financial aid is available to you and help you apply for it. Financial Assistance Advisors are available without an appointment to meet with students Monday - Friday (between 8-5) on a walk-in basis. The office of Financial Aid is located across the street from the main campus on Broadway.

Student Success Plan (SSP)

The Student Success Plan (formerly known as Project A.S.S.I.S.T.) is a federally funded program for freshmen and sophomores. The program provides a continuum of academic and non-academic support services designed to help participants meet short and long - term goals. SSP seeks to increase the retention and graduation rates of its participants and to foster an institutional climate supportive of their specific needs. The program coordinates all institutional resources through the collaboration of academic and student services offices.

UIW Online Services - Banner Web

BannerWeb is the central hub for online registration and individual financial records. Here you can few your transcripts, holds, check your grades, register for courses and update your personal information.

Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry engages in University life through prayer, liturgy, outreach, faith development and pastoral care. Student peer ministers are an integral part of this ministry and their growth in faith and development of leadership skills is a core aspect of our ministry. Together, the professional staff and student peer ministers seek to extend an invitation to all students to explore formative issues of faith, values and purpose.

Health Services

The Campus Health Center provides basic health services that focus on primary prevention care, health education and counseling, emergency care, and the maintenance of health records and insurance.

At UIW, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their body, mind, and spirit (personal wellness). Students are challenged to examine their own personal wellness plan. Support is given for changes resulting in continued improvement and growth.

Residence Life

While living on campus, you will have the unique opportunity to meet a diverse group of students, staff, and faculty. You will discover through our Residence Life programs that many other students are similar to yourself, and some are very different. You will also learn how to live in a community with over 800 neighbors.

Learning Assistance Center

The Learning Assistance Center invites you to take advantage of the tutoring and testing services.

J.E. & L.E. Mabee Library

The Library serves to support the academic process with an appropriate collection of resources, offered in a spirit of Christian service, in a setting where equipment and facilities promote excellence in learning with materials to educate, inspire and recreate.

Media Services and the Media Center Lab are located in the basement of the Library.
